Tendril is a mindful habit tracker developed by TheKnack. Your privacy is our priority.
No personal data. No account. No ads. No cross-app tracking. Tendril does not require an email, a password, or any identifier. We do not sell or share any data with advertisers.
Tendril uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous, aggregate product analytics — things like which screens are viewed and how often habits are completed. These signals help us improve Tendril. TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses, cookies, or any identifier that can be linked back to you. Anonymous analytics are not used for advertising and are not shared with third parties. You can opt out in Settings → Privacy at any time.
If you link habits to Apple Health, Tendril reads health metrics (steps, water, exercise) solely to auto-complete linked habits. Health data is processed on-device and never transmitted — not even anonymously.
Your habit data syncs across your own devices via Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). We have no access to this data; it is encrypted end-to-end between your devices.
No other third-party services are used. Tendril contains no advertising SDKs and no tracking pixels.
Because Tendril does not collect personal data and TelemetryDeck receives only anonymous aggregates, there is nothing tied to you to export or delete. If you have questions or concerns, contact us at theknack2020@gmail.com.
