By downloading or using dB Meter, you agree to these terms.

Description

dB Meter is a sound level measurement tool for informational purposes. It is not a certified scientific instrument and should not be used as a substitute for professional sound level meters in occupational safety or legal contexts.

Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

dB Meter offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase to unlock Pro features. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Free Trial

The yearly subscription includes a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

Accuracy Disclaimer

Sound measurements are approximate and depend on your device's microphone hardware. Results may vary between devices. For certified measurements, use a calibrated professional instrument.

Limitation of Liability

dB Meter is provided "as is" without warranty. TheKnack is not liable for any hearing damage, regulatory violations, or other consequences arising from reliance on the app's measurements.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
