Feltside collects nothing. There is no analytics SDK, no tracking, no advertising identifier and no account. Your collection lives on your device.
Every record, play, cleaning entry, stylus, wantlist item and note you enter is stored locally on your iPhone.
Feltside has no server of its own and makes exactly one kind of request: when you look up a barcode — by scanning it or typing it — the app sends that barcode, and nothing else, to MusicBrainz, an open community database, to fetch the release's title, artist, year, label and catalogue number. The request carries no identifier, no account and nothing about you or your collection; as MusicBrainz requires, it identifies the app by name and version and links to this support site. MusicBrainz's own privacy policy governs how it handles the request. Feltside never fetches images. The only other network traffic is Apple's own purchase and subscription flow, which Apple handles.
The camera is used only to read a barcode, only while the scan screen is open, and only after you allow it. Nothing is photographed, stored or sent. If you decline, you can type the barcode or add the record by hand.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. Feltside receives from Apple only whether a subscription is active. We never see your payment details.
Export to CSV or JSON is available in every tier, free, at any time, from Settings. Deleting the app removes the local data.
Feltside is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
