Ovenspring — Privacy Policy

Ovenspring collects nothing. There is no account, no cloud service, and no analytics of any kind. Everything you record stays on your iPhone.

What we collect

Nothing. Ovenspring has no servers, sends no data anywhere, and contains no analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs. We cannot see your starters, your feedings, your measurements or your bakes, because they never leave your device.

Your data on your device

• Starters, feedings, measurements and bakes are stored in the app's private container on your iPhone.
• Photographs you take of your jar or your crumb are processed entirely on device. The rise measurement is arithmetic performed on the two lines you mark yourself — no image is uploaded and no machine-learning service is involved.
• Notifications are scheduled locally by iOS. No push server is used, so no device token exists.
• Export writes a file you choose the destination for. Where that file goes afterwards is entirely up to you.

Deleting the app removes all of it. We keep no copy, because we never had one.

Permissions

• Camera — only to photograph your starter jar for a rise measurement.
• Photo library — only to attach a picture you choose to a bake or a measurement.
• Notifications — only to remind you about feedings and bake steps.

Each is optional; declining one disables that feature and nothing else.

Purchases

Ovenspring Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

Children

Ovenspring is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear at this address with a new date. Because the app collects nothing, any change would be a clarification rather than a new use of data.
