Terms of Use
Effective: July 10, 2026 · Last updated: July 10, 2026
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Pressora (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use together with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If you disagree with these terms, do not use the app.
Pressora is a wellness tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It helps you log how you feel and see how it lines up with barometric pressure — nothing more. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about any medical condition, symptom, or decision. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you saw in Pressora.
2. What Pressora is (and is not)
Pressora shows barometric pressure from your device's sensor and the weather forecast, and lets you keep a personal journal of your symptoms and how you feel. It surfaces your own patterns over time. Pressora does not predict, diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition, and its outputs are informational and personal only. It is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, monitoring, or emergency services. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
3. Who you're contracting with
The app is developed and distributed by TheKnack (the "developer"). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
4. License
Subject to these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Pressora on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or redistribute the app.
5. Pressora Pro — Subscription & Purchase Terms
Pressora Pro unlocks premium features (such as personalized 48-hour drop alerts, the correlation insights engine, history beyond the free window, and exportable summary reports) via in-app purchase. Three options are available:
- Monthly subscription — US$4.99 per month, auto-renewing each month until cancelled.
- Yearly subscription — US$29.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial, then auto-renewing each year until cancelled.
- Lifetime unlock — US$59.99 one-time purchase (a non-consumable), no subscription, no auto-renewal.
The monthly and yearly options are auto-renewable subscriptions. Title of subscription: Pressora Pro. Length: 1 month or 1 year, renewing for the same period. Prices shown are US App Store prices; your local price is displayed in the app at the time of purchase.
6. Free trial and auto-renewal
- The Yearly subscription includes a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription begins automatically and your Apple ID is charged the yearly price.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged the renewal fee within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase the subscription during the trial period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or through the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the current paid period.
- The Lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase — it does not renew and is never charged again.
7. Prices
Prices are displayed in the app and on the App Store at the time of purchase, in your local currency. Pricing may vary by region under Apple's purchasing-power-parity adjustments. We may change prices for future billing periods; any change is shown before it takes effect, and continued renewal after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
8. Refunds
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
9. Your content and acceptable use
The symptom check-ins, notes, and data you record in Pressora are yours; you retain full ownership, and they stay on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for how you use the information Pressora shows you. You agree to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial wellness journaling and not for any unlawful purpose.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Pressora is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Barometer readings, weather forecasts, and alerts depend on your device, sensors, network, system settings, and third-party weather data, and may be delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee that any pressure reading, forecast, correlation, or notification will be accurate, complete, or delivered at a particular time. Nothing in the app is medical advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TheKnack shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including any reliance on a reading, forecast, correlation, alert, or missed notification, or any health decision you make. In jurisdictions where this limitation is not enforceable — including many EU member states and other consumer-protection jurisdictions — our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding any claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law, nor excludes liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Updated Terms will appear on this page with a new effective date. Material changes are surfaced in-app.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Where European Union consumer protections provide stronger rights, those rights apply to EU residents. You may bring any claim in your country of residence.
