Restbell — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

The short version

Restbell collects nothing. There is no analytics SDK, no tracking, no advertising identifier and no account. Your routines live on your device.

What stays on your device

Every routine, step, rest duration, cue preference and set count you enter is stored locally on your iPhone and, where you use it, on your Apple Watch.

Network use

Restbell makes no network requests of its own. It has no server, no sync service and no content to fetch. The only network traffic is Apple's own purchase and subscription flow, which Apple handles.

Health data

The Apple Watch app starts a HealthKit workout session for one reason: watchOS requires one to keep a timer running when your wrist drops. Restbell does not read any health data and does not write any workout, heart rate or activity record. If you decline the permission, the timer still works while the screen is on.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. Restbell receives from Apple only whether a subscription is active. We never see your payment details.

Your data is yours

You can export every routine to a plain file at any time from Settings. Deleting the app deletes its data with it; there is no copy on our side, because there is no our side.

Children

Restbell is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date above changes with it.
