Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Sillora ("the app", "we", "us") is developed and distributed by TheKnack. Questions or concerns: sillora.support@theknack.dev.

2. What stays on your device

Sillora stores your collection locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's SwiftData. We do not upload, mirror, or read this content. The data on your device includes:

• Your bottles — names, houses, sizes, prices, batch codes, fill levels, and notes you write
• Your Scent-of-the-Day wear logs, streak, and rotation history
• Photos of your bottles that you choose to add
• Your wishlist and samples
• Your preferences — units, notification settings, and theme

3. Optional iCloud sync (Sillora Pro)

Sillora Pro can sync your collection across your devices using Apple's CloudKit. This uses your own private iCloud database — the data is tied to your Apple ID and stored in your personal iCloud, which only you can access. We, TheKnack, cannot read it, and we never see your Apple ID, email, or iCloud credentials. If you do not enable Pro sync, Sillora stays entirely local.

4. Device backups (managed by Apple, you control them)

If you use iCloud Backup or back your device up to a computer, your Sillora data is included in that backup like any other app's data. Backups are managed and encrypted by Apple (or stored on your computer); we have no access to them. Restoring a new device from your backup carries your Sillora data over; setting a device up as new starts fresh.

5. What we collect off your device: nothing

Sillora contains no analytics and no third-party tracking or diagnostics SDK. Nothing about how you use the app — not app launches, not screens viewed, not crashes, not performance — is sent to us or to anyone else. Your taste and your spending never leave your device.

This matches Sillora's App Store privacy label, which is marked Data Not Collected, and the app's bundled privacy manifest, which declares no collected data types and no tracking.

6. What we do not do

• We do not require an account, sign-up, or login.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not use advertising identifiers, and we never show ads.
• We do not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt — there is nothing to track.
• We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

7. Photos

When you add a photo of a bottle, Sillora uses Apple's photo picker. You choose the specific image; the app does not access your wider photo library. The photo is stored locally with your collection (and, if you enable Pro sync, in your own private iCloud). We never see it.

8. Notifications

Sillora can send a gentle daily reminder to log your Scent of the Day if you enable notifications. These are scheduled locally on your device via Apple's notification system; no push server is involved. You can change or disable them anytime in iPhone Settings → Sillora → Notifications, or inside Sillora under Settings.

9. Export — your data is yours

Sillora lets you export your entire collection to CSV or JSON at any time, for free, from Settings. Your data is never held hostage. The export is created on your device and shared through the standard iOS share sheet to wherever you choose.

10. The fragrance catalog

Sillora includes a small, bundled reference catalog of popular fragrances (house, concentration, note pyramids, accords) to speed up adding bottles. This catalog is our own original curation of factual information, distributed with the app; it does not collect anything from you, and it works entirely offline. Fragrance and house names appearing in the app or catalog are used nominatively — only to identify the products you own. They are the trademarks of their respective owners; TheKnack is not affiliated with or endorsed by any fragrance house.

11. App Store purchases

If you purchase Sillora Pro (monthly, yearly, or lifetime), Apple processes the transaction. We receive a receipt from Apple confirming your subscription status; we do not receive your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data: apple.com/legal/privacy.

12. Children

Sillora is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not collect personal data from anyone, including children, and we do not direct any data collection or advertising at children.

13. Data retention and deletion

Because your content lives on your device, you control it directly:

• Access & export: open the app — everything is there; export it anytime.
• Delete content: remove bottles or wear logs inside the app.
• Delete everything: delete the app, and all local data is removed with it. If you used Pro iCloud sync, remove Sillora's data from Settings → [your name] → iCloud.

We retain no server-side copy of your content, because we never receive it.

14. Not a medical service

Sillora is a lifestyle and collection-management tool for fragrance enthusiasts. It is not a medical or health service and does not treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

15. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and other regions)

Because we hold no personal data about you on any server — and collect no analytics at all — most data-subject requests resolve entirely on your device, and you can export your full data at any time (data portability):

• We collect no data off your device, so there is nothing on our side for us to disclose, correct, or delete.
• We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
• To erase everything, delete the app (and, if you used Pro iCloud sync, remove Sillora's data from your iCloud settings).

EU/EEA and UK residents retain all rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents retain all rights under the CCPA/CPRA.

16. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Sillora handles data, this page will update with a new effective date. Substantive changes will also be surfaced in-app on your next launch.

17. Governing law

This policy and the operation of Sillora are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Where European Union consumer protections (including the GDPR) provide stronger rights, those rights apply to EU residents.
