Support

Migora is a private, account-free migraine tracker for iPhone and iPad. Here are the answers to the things people ask most. If yours isn't here, email us — we read everything.

Migora is a tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a healthcare professional.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account?

No. There's no account with us, no sign-up, and no login. You open the app and start tracking. Your log stays on your device — there's nothing to create and nothing to sign in to.

Where is my data stored? Is it private?

Everything you log — attacks, symptoms, medications, triggers, check-ins, MIDAS answers, and pressure history — stays on your device using Apple's SwiftData. Nothing is ever sent to a TheKnack server — there isn't one. Your health data is never sold, never shared, and never put into analytics.

What happens when I get a new phone?

Migora stores your log on the device where you created it — it isn't synced to an account or a server. The simplest way to bring it to a new phone is to restore the new device from your old device's backup (iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup), which includes Migora's data. You can also use the free CSV export to keep a copy of your records.

Does Migora connect to Apple Health?

Not in this version. Migora doesn't read from or write to Apple Health — everything you track is entered inside the app and stays in Migora. If Apple Health support is added later, it will be optional and will ask for your permission first.

How do pressure features and weather work?

Migora shows local barometric pressure and a short forecast using Apple's WeatherKit. That needs an approximate location, which is sent to Apple to fetch your local weather; it isn't sent to us. Basic pressure and today's trend are free. The 48-hour forecast, your personal pressure-sensitivity reading, and pressure-change alerts are part of Migora Pro. Pressure information is descriptive only — Migora does not predict attacks.

What does Migora Pro unlock?

The free version is fully usable forever: unlimited attack logging, Attack Mode, your full calendar and history, daily check-ins, CSV export, and today's pressure with a basic trend — none of it is ever locked. Migora Pro adds the 48-hour pressure forecast and your personal sensitivity reading, Insights (pressure-and-attack overlay, trigger correlations, medication effectiveness, MIDAS trend), the doctor report PDF, and the widget set with advanced notifications.

How much does Migora Pro cost?

Monthly is US$5.99. Yearly is US$34.99 with a 7-day free trial, then it auto-renews yearly until you cancel. Lifetime is a US$69.99 one-time purchase with no subscription and no renewal. Your local price is shown in the app before you buy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Migora → Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the current billing period. To avoid being charged after the free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

Can I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the Migora purchase. If Apple declines, email us and we'll see what we can do.

I bought Pro but it isn't showing / I'm on a new device

Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used to buy. Restore re-applies your subscription or lifetime unlock from Apple's records.

How do I share my history with my doctor?

With Migora Pro, open the report screen and generate a doctor report PDF — a calendar heat map, frequency and duration, an acute-medication-day count, and your MIDAS trend, all from what you've logged. You can share it however you like. It's a summary of your own records to bring to an appointment, not a clinical assessment.

How do reminders and alerts work?

Migora can send a daily check-in nudge, a gentle post-attack follow-up, and (with Pro) a pressure-change alert. They're scheduled locally on your device, so they work without any push server, and they're always gentle and pressure-free. Enable notifications when Migora asks, or later in iPhone Settings → Migora → Notifications.

How do I export or delete my data?

You can export your log as CSV anytime (it's free). To erase everything on your device, use Settings → Delete All Data inside Migora, or delete the app. If you keep device backups, remember a copy may remain in your Apple-managed backup until it's deleted or rotates out.

Will Migora support other languages?

Version 1.0 ships in English only. We want the experience to feel right in one language before expanding. Additional languages may come in future updates.

Troubleshooting

My reminders aren't arriving

Open iPhone Settings → Migora → Notifications and make sure they're allowed. Then confirm you've set a reminder time inside Migora. If you also have Focus or Do Not Disturb on, check that Migora is allowed to notify you.

Pressure or weather isn't loading

Pressure features use Apple WeatherKit, which needs a network connection and location access. Check iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Migora, and make sure you're online. Weather can take a moment to refresh after you move to a new area.

My data is missing

Your data lives on the device where you created it. If you recently switched to a new device, the data remains on the old one unless you restored the new device from the old device's backup. Restore from that backup, or use the CSV export from the old device to keep a copy of your records.
