Terms of Use
Citora: City Travel Log · Effective 6 August 2026
The app
Citora is a personal travel record: you mark cities you have visited, and the app renders your map, stats and share cards. Marking cities, the map, core stats, notes with up to three photos per city, and full export/import are free, forever.
Citora Pro
Citora Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly; the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial) unlocking unlimited photos per city, the Chart and Globe share-card styles, and advanced stats (by year, longest runs, firsts). Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; the subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Your content
Your marks, notes and photos are yours. They live on your device; we have no copy, no access, and no claim to them. You are responsible for keeping backups (the built-in export exists for exactly that).
Reference data
City and country data come from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0) and Natural Earth (public domain). Place data may contain inaccuracies; Citora is a personal record, not a navigational or legal reference.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent the app. The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind; to the maximum extent permitted by law, TheKnack is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
