Common questions
Where are my records kept?
On your iPhone, and nowhere else. There is no account and no cloud. That also means a lost or wiped phone takes the records with it, so export a copy now and then — export is free, forever, in Settings → Your records.
Coneglow asked for the camera. Do I have to say yes?
No. Photos make a record richer, but everything else keeps working without them: stages, dates, clay bodies, glaze coats, cones, kilns and notes all record normally, and the fired-versus-unfired marks still read. You can also choose an existing photo instead of taking one.
What is the wedge on some tiles?
A glossy corner wedge means that record was verified by a firing, and the number beside it counts the evidence. A dry, dashed corner means the claim has not been through the kiln yet. Glaze lies until it is fired — the marks keep the two apart.
What does the free version include?
25 pieces with stage photos, 10 glazes, 10 firings a year, one test tile per glaze and clay-body pairing, and the full provenance graph. Coneglow Pro removes those limits and adds the blend calculators, the layering matrix, per-coat detail, recipe version history and custom fields. Reaching a limit never deletes or hides anything you already made.
How do I cancel Coneglow Pro?
iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Coneglow. Cancelling before a trial ends means you are not charged.
I deleted something by mistake.
Every delete shows an Undo for 30 seconds. After that the record is gone — but every record can also be edited rather than deleted, so a typo never needs a delete in the first place.
