By downloading, installing or using Micro Journal ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Micro Journal is a personal journaling application. You write one sentence per day, optionally attach a mood and a photo, and build a writing streak. Your entries are stored on your device.
You retain all rights to the entries and content you create in the App. Micro Journal claims no ownership of and no licence to your content. We operate no servers and hold no copy of your writing; see the Privacy Policy for exactly where it lives.
Micro Journal Pro is optional. The App is fully usable without it. Pro is offered as:
Prices differ by storefront and change over time, so they are not restated here: the price shown inside the App on the Pro screen, and on the App Store product page under In-App Purchases, is the one that applies at the moment of purchase. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed by the App Store. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
The 7-day free trial applies to the yearly plan. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it converts automatically into a paid yearly subscription at the price shown at purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
If you reinstall the App or use a new device, open the Pro screen and tap Restore to reinstate a purchase made with the same Apple ID.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple through their standard refund process; we cannot issue refunds ourselves.
You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data.
Your entries are stored on your device. We hold no copy and cannot recover entries for you. Because the App has no sync and keeps no copy anywhere else, deleting the App or losing the device loses the journal with it. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device damage, iOS updates, deleting the App, or other causes outside our control. The Pro export features (text and the PDF "Book of Days") exist so you can keep your own backup, and we recommend using them.
We may update these terms. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
