Saponora — Privacy Policy

Saponora collects nothing. There is no account, no cloud service, and no analytics of any kind. Everything you record stays on your iPhone.

What we collect

Nothing. Saponora has no servers, sends no data anywhere, and contains no analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs. We cannot see your recipes, your batches, your weigh-ins, your supply costs or your labels, because they never leave your device.

Your data on your device

• Recipes, batches, weigh-ins, fragrance records, inventory and costs are stored in the app's private container on your iPhone.
• Notifications for cure checkpoints are scheduled locally by iOS. No push server is used, so no device token exists. If you decline them, the app stays fully useful — the rack counts the days on its own.
• The Home Screen widget reads a small summary from a shared container on the same device. Nothing is transmitted.
• Export and labels write files you choose the destination for. Where those files go afterwards is entirely up to you.
• Private feedback, if you choose to send it, contains only what you type. No device details and no logs are attached.

Deleting the app removes all of it. We keep no copy, because we never had one.

Permissions

• Notifications — only to remind you of weigh-in days and when a batch reaches its plateau. Asked at your first pour, never on the first screen, and declining costs you nothing but the reminders.

Saponora asks for no other permission. It has no camera access, no photo library access, no location access and no contacts access, because it needs none of them.

Purchases

Saponora Pro is an auto-renewable subscription handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple provides the app with a receipt indicating whether a subscription is active; nothing about you is transmitted to us.

Reference data

Saponora includes published saponification values and IFRA fragrance limits as reference information for craft use. These figures are carried with their source and are not medical or safety advice. They are read from data bundled inside the app; no lookup service is contacted.

Children

Saponora is a tool for adults handling caustic materials. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated date at the top will change with it. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect it to.
