Saponora is a record-keeping and calculation tool for handmade soap makers. It performs saponification arithmetic, tracks curing batches, and stores what you record. It is a lab book, not a supervisor.
Soap making involves sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide, which are caustic and can cause serious burns. Saponora calculates lye quantities from published saponification values and always rounds the result down, but the responsibility for handling, protective equipment, ventilation and the finished product is entirely yours. Verify your own numbers. Nothing in the app is a substitute for training, a supplier's data sheet, or your own judgement.
Saponification values and IFRA fragrance limits are included as reference information for craft use, carried with their source. They are not medical, safety or regulatory advice, and they may not reflect the most recent amendment. Where a fragrance has no published limit for a category, Saponora says so rather than implying one — an unknown limit is missing evidence, not permission.
Ingredient lists, net weights and dates that Saponora produces are derived from what you entered. Local labelling law, cosmetic regulations and product safety assessments are your responsibility in your own market.
The saponification calculator is free forever, with every unit. The free tier keeps three recipes and two curing batches at a time. Pro lifts those counts; it does not unlock what you already made. Everything you have recorded stays yours and stays readable whether or not you subscribe, and export is never held back.
