Tidora: Clean Photos by Month
This Privacy Policy explains what information Tidora ("the app", "we", "us") accesses on your device, why none of it is collected or transmitted, and what we do not do. Tidora is developed and operated by TheKnack.
By using Tidora, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app and uninstall it.
Tidora requests access to your device photo library (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription) to show you photos and videos for review. Specifically:
PHAssetChangeRequest.deleteAssets).Tidora collects no data at all. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no account system and no server: the app has no way to send us anything. The App Store privacy label for Tidora reads Data Not Collected, and the app’s bundled privacy manifest declares an empty collection list to match.
Earlier versions of Tidora shipped an anonymous analytics SDK (TelemetryDeck). It was removed entirely in version 2.0, along with the in-app analytics toggle that used to control it — there is nothing left to switch off.
Everything Tidora knows — your months, your progress, your milestones — is stored on your device and never leaves it.
All app data created by Tidora — your swipe history, session progress, statistics, milestones, streak, and settings — is stored on your device only using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults.
PHAsset identifiers (references to photos) are stored locally only as index references. Photo content itself is always read directly from the iOS photo library and is never copied or cached by Tidora.
When you confirm a deletion in Tidora, iOS moves those items to the system Recently Deleted album. Items remain there for 30 days and can be recovered via the Photos app before that window closes. After 30 days, iOS permanently deletes them. Tidora has no control over this window — it is an iOS system behavior. Please see our Terms of Use for the liability section on permanent deletion.
Tidora is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in EEA countries). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to address it.
Because Tidora collects no personal data linked to you, most traditional data-subject requests (access, portability, erasure) are structurally satisfied by design — there is no personal data on our servers to access, export, or delete.
Tidora performs no processing of personal data, so no lawful basis under the GDPR is engaged: there is no collection, no transmission and no third-party recipient. Should you wish to raise a complaint regardless, you may contact the data protection supervisory authority in your country.
Tidora does not sell personal information, and it collects none in the first place. You have the right to know what is collected — this policy is that disclosure, and the answer is nothing.
There is no analytics to opt out of. To delete all local Tidora data, uninstall the app. For any other inquiry, contact us at theknack2020@gmail.com.
Tidora uses the following third-party services:
Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple. Apple handles payment information; Tidora never sees your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions: apple.com/legal/privacy. Subscription management is handled entirely in your App Store account settings.
Tidora bundles no third-party SDKs. The only external party involved is Apple, which processes your purchase if you subscribe — Tidora never sees your payment details.
No other third-party SDKs, analytics providers, ad networks, or data brokers are used.
Since Tidora does not transmit your photos or personal data to any server, the attack surface is minimal. App data stored on your device is protected by iOS's built-in data protection mechanisms (FileProtection). We follow Apple's security best practices and keep the dependency footprint small.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. If we make material changes — for example, adding a new data collection practice — we will update the effective date and notify users via an in-app notice on next launch. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
This policy is governed by the laws of Türkiye. However, if you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence apply and cannot be waived. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable EU or EEA consumer law.
