Tidora: Swipe Photo Cleaner
Tidora shows your photos one at a time as cards. Swipe left to delete, right to keep, or swipe up to favorite (adds to your iOS Favorites album — a power gesture you can enable in Settings).
Your delete decisions are held in a basket until the end of the round. Nothing is deleted until you review the basket and tap Confirm Delete. You stay in control at every step.
Yes. Tap the Undo button (↩) during a round to return the last card to the queue. Free users can undo within the current session. Pro users get unlimited undo history — you can step back through an entire round.
At the end of every round you also see a full review grid of all items in the delete basket, so you can remove anything before confirming.
As you swipe left, deleted items are collected silently into a basket — there's no interruption mid-round. When the round ends, Tidora shows you a summary screen with a grid of everything in the basket. You can:

When Tidora deletes photos, iOS moves them to the Recently Deleted album inside the Photos app. They stay there for 30 days before iOS permanently removes them and reclaims the storage.

Free users can swipe 50 photos per day. The counter resets at midnight local time. Kept photos and undone swipes both count toward the limit. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited swipes.
Tidora subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple. To cancel:
You retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period. TheKnack cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
Open Tidora → go to Settings (Me tab) → tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID you used to purchase. If restore fails, check your internet connection and try again.
Tidora's Smart Sweeps (Pro) scans for visually similar photos using on-device Vision analysis — no photos leave your device. Similar photos are grouped into a single card. Tidora scores each photo on sharpness, exposure, and whether eyes are open, then suggests the best one to keep. You can override the suggestion before sending the rest to the basket.
The analysis runs progressively in the background while the app is open; the Smart Sweeps tab shows a progress indicator as it fills.
If you use iCloud Photos with Optimize iPhone Storage enabled, your device may hold low-resolution thumbnails while originals live in iCloud. When Tidora shows you a photo to review, it requests the full-resolution version from iCloud if needed (requires Wi-Fi or cellular).
When you delete a photo through Tidora, it is removed from your iCloud Photos library — which means it disappears from all devices sharing that library (iPhone, iPad, Mac). The deletion does not just free local device storage; it removes the item from the cloud library entirely.
Tidora labels the space reclaimed as "library size" and does not make promises about immediate local device-storage recovery, since iCloud Optimize manages local storage automatically.
No — your photos never leave your device. All processing (grouping, scoring, Vision analysis) runs entirely on-device. Tidora never uploads photos, thumbnails, filenames, or any photo-derived data to any server.
The only data that leaves your device is anonymous, non-linked crash and usage analytics via TelemetryDeck (no IDFA, no personal data). You can turn this off in Settings → Data & Privacy → Analytics.

Tidora is currently available in English. Additional languages may be added in future updates.
Yes. Tidora is a Universal app and supports iPhone and iPad. On iPad, Tidora uses a split-layout view with a sidebar for navigation and the swipe deck in the main area. Keyboard shortcuts are also supported: ← arrow key to delete, → arrow key to keep.
Tidora needs access to your photo library to work. If you denied permission at first launch:
Limited Photos access (selected photos only) reduces what Tidora can show you. Full access is recommended for the best experience.
Tidora is designed for libraries up to 100K+ assets, but initial indexing can take a moment on first launch. The month map and first round should appear within seconds. Smart Sweeps analysis runs in the background and fills progressively — a "Preparing…" badge shows progress. If the app feels sluggish:
Tidora auto-plays a silent 3-second loop of videos in the card view. If a video shows a static thumbnail instead:
Tidora displays the original captured image. If you applied edits in the Photos app (crop, filters, adjustments), Tidora shows the original — not the edited version — for an accurate quality assessment. Deletions always act on the original + edits together (iOS deletes the full asset).
