Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Vettie ("we", "our", "the app") handles your information.

Data Collection

Vettie is designed with a privacy-first approach. All pet health data — including pet profiles, vaccination records, vet visits, weight entries, diary notes, and photos — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers.

Photos

When you add a photo to a pet profile, the image is stored locally on your device. We do not upload, share, or process your photos in any way.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Vettie schedules local reminders for vaccinations and medications. These notifications are processed entirely on your device and are not sent through any external service.

Subscriptions

Vettie offers optional premium subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Analytics & Tracking

Vettie does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, or behavioral information.

Third-Party Services

Vettie does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The only external service involved is Apple's StoreKit for subscription management.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties. Your pet health information stays on your device.

Data Deletion

You can delete any pet profile and all associated data at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

Vettie does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to function.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
