Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add a pet?

When you first open Vettie, the onboarding flow guides you through adding your first pet. To add more pets (Premium feature), tap the "+" button on the Home screen.

Is my data backed up?

Vettie stores all data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. Your data stays private and secure. We recommend keeping regular device backups through iCloud or your computer to prevent data loss.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, find Vettie, and tap "Cancel Subscription." Your premium access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings in the app, then tap "Restore Purchases". This will restore any active subscriptions or lifetime purchases linked to your Apple ID.

Can I export my pet's health records?

Yes! Premium users can export a comprehensive PDF health report for each pet. Go to the pet's profile and tap the export button.

The app is in the wrong language

Vettie follows your device's language setting. To change it: Settings → General → Language & Region. Vettie currently supports English and Turkish.

How do I change the theme?

Go to Settings in the app and look for the Theme picker. You can choose between Light, Dark, or System (follows your device setting).
